Two children, ages 11 and 14, hit by car in Brampton

First responders are attending to a collision in Brampton.

At 5:24 p.m. on Tuesday (February 9), first responders were called to the area of Bramalea Road and Dewside Drive in relation to a pair of children who were hit by a car.

According to Peel Regional Police, the children are 11- and 14-years-old, and the extent of their injuries is still unclear.

Road closures are in effect in the area, and drivers are instructed to avoid the area.

UPDATE:

The injuries to the children are non-life-threatening.
