Tim Hortons has announced it’s adding a menu item coffee enthusiasts will be excited about.

The chain has announced it will be adding Cold Brew coffee to its menu.

In a news release, the company said the new Tim’s Cold Bew is made with 100 per cent ethically sourced Arabica beans and slowly cold steeped for 16 hours.

Customers can order Tim’s new Cold Brew however they like their coffee (even as a Double-Double).

Additionally, for those who prefer a richer, sweeter beverage, customers will be able to order a Vanilla Cream Cold Brew, which has a creamier, sweeter flavour.

“Since 1964, we’ve been serving great tasting coffee that has become the morning pick-me-up for Canadians across the country,” Hope Bagozzi, chief marketing officer for Tim Hortons, said in a news release.

“But we know many of our guests have also come to love a cold coffee experience. Whether it’s to start their day, to enjoy on an afternoon break, or to beat the heat, we’ve become known for our Iced Capps® and many guests love our classic coffee flavour on ice. We’re so excited for everyone to experience our new Cold Brew, it’s a must-try for coffee lovers,” she continued.
