The province is reporting a higher number of COVID-19 cases today (Saturday, June 26) at 346 cases — up 90 from yesterday. There are 64 new cases in Toronto, 39 in Waterloo, 34 in Peel, 32 in Grey Bruce, 24 in Porcupine, 22 in Hamilton, and 12 in Halton.
The last time the province reported over 300 new cases was on Sunday, June 20.
The province is also reporting 13 deaths, up 11 from yesterday.
Since yesterday, 503 more cases are considered resolved and over 25,600 more tests completed.
13,824,469 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ontario to date, including a new daily record of 256,260 doses administered on Friday, June 25.
This week on Wednesday, June 30, the province will move into Step Two of its reopening plan two days ahead of schedule, allowing larger social gatherings and for more establishments to reopen.
