Province reporting 530 new COVID-19 cases, seven deaths

The province is reporting 530 new COVID-19 cases today, June 13 (up 28 from yesterday) and seven new deaths (down eight from yesterday). There are 102 new cases in Toronto, 97 in Waterloo, 81 in Peel, 68 in Porcupine, 24 in Hamilton, 24 in Ottawa, and 21 in Halton.

Since yesterday, 763 more cases are considered resolved and over 20,700 more tests completed.

To date, 11,208,867 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ontario.

The province entered the first phase of its reopening on Friday, June 11, allowing for larger social gatherings and for patios to reopen among other changes.

“Please continue to do your part by getting vaccinated and continuing to follow public health advice,” said Health Minister Christine Elliott.
