Power outage on Hamilton’s West Mountain affecting hundreds of homes, businesses

UPDATE: Power has been restored to the area.
A power outage on Hamilton’s West Mountain is affecting more than 500 homes and businesses Monday morning (March 1).
Alectra Utilities has dispatched crews to the scene to address the outage in the area of Garth Street to West 5th Street between Fennell Avenue and Sanatorium Road.
The utility provider said 507 of their customers are currently impacted.
Power is expected to be restored between 11 am and 1:30 pm.
