Police searching for suspect connected to pharmacy robbery in Hamilton

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a robbery in Hamilton.

On January 14, shortly before 6 p.m., the suspect allegedly robbed the Mountain Clinic Pharmacy located at 880 Upper Wentworth Street.

According to Hamilton Police Service (HPS), the suspect brandished a knife and demanded narcotics from the two employees.

When one of the employees told the suspect there were no narcotics available to give him, he held the knife to their throat.

However, the suspect eventually left the pharmacy without any drugs.

The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 20 and 30, he’s approximately 6’2″ tall, and estimated to be between 200 and 210 lbs.

During the altercation, he was wearing a white T-shirt over a dark, long-sleeve hoodie; blue jeans; and a blue surgical mask.
