Ontario is reporting 1,418 new COVID-19 cases today (November 20), along with eight new deaths.
Today’s numbers saw an increase of 208 cases compared to yesterday; however, the eight new deaths is a 71 per cent decrease compared to the number of yesterday’s fatalities.
For the second consecutive day, Peel Region led the way in the number of new cases—Peel Public Health is reporting 400 new cases, while Toronto Public Health is reporting 393 new cases, and York Region Public Health Services is reporting 168 new cases.
Additionally, the Halton Region Health Department is reporting 36 new cases, and Hamilton Public Health Services is reporting 36 new cases.
Ontario’s total number of cases has now surpassed six figures—the Province is reporting 100,790 total cases, with 12,599 still active, 84,764 recovered, and 3,451 dead.
