Mountain home targeted with ‘pellet gunshots’: Hamilton Police

Hamilton Police are investigating what they’re calling “pellet gunshots” fired at a residential home in the area of Upper Wentworth and Concession St.

Hamilton Police are investigating what they’re calling “pellet gunshots” fired at a residential home in the area of Upper Wentworth and Concession St.

Monday (Feb. 24) night shortly after 10:30 p.m., police say homeowners were inside their mountain home when they heard a shooting sound outside. Police located a front door window damaged, pellet holes punctured in the house siding, and a shattered windshield to a parked car in the driveway.

Police are searching for a “dark coloured sedan” and say they believe this to be a targeted incident stemming from previous issues between known individuals.
