The federal government’s travel data shows 24 flights with COVID-19 cases were at Pearson Airport over the past week, specifically from January 16 to 18.
Seven domestic flights were reported, with flights coming from or arriving at Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal, and Calgary.
The remaining 17 flights were international flights, all of which arrived at Pearson from abroad within the same three-day period.
A number of rows were affected on the flights. All flight data is listed on the federal government’s website.
Passengers who were sitting in the affected rows (or all passengers on the flight if rows aren’t specified) are advised to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days and contact public health if they start showing symptoms of the virus.
Residents are reminded to quarantine for 14 days after returning to Canada from travel abroad.
