Federal government identifies multiple flights that landed at Pearson Airport with COVID-19

It’s reported that multple flights recently landed at Pearson Airport in Mississauga with confirmed cases of COVID-19 onboard, according to the federal government’s travel data.

In terms of domestic flights, a WestJet flight from Calgary and an Air Canada flight from Calgary landed at Pearson on Monday, November 23.

On the former flight (WS658) rows 1 to 7 were affected, while it’s unknown which rows were affected on the latter flight (AC144).

The same day, an Emirates flight from Dubai (flight EK241) also landed at Pearson. Rows 14 to 20 were affected.

Passengers in affected rows (or all passengers on the flight if rows aren’t specified) are advised to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days and contact public health if they start showing symptoms of the virus.

All residents are reminded to quarantine for 14 days after returning to Canada from travel abroad.
