With a stay-at-home order still in effect, many will be ordering takeout for Valentine’s Day this year.
This year, Boston Pizza is ‘raising dough’ for local charities as part of its annual Valentine’s Day fundraising drive.
Until February 14, customers will be encouraged to add a $2 donation or a Chocolate Explosion Dessert to their bill, in support of a local charity chosen by the individual franchise.
Additionally, for the first time ever, customers will be able to order a heart-shaped pizza on two days—February 13 and 14.
These heart-shaped pizzas will be available in small and medium sizes, and one dollar from every order will be donated to the select charity.
“We know things will be different for Canadians this Valentine’s Day, so we’ve made it easy for our guests to enjoy a Heart-Shaped Pizza at home, while helping our amazing franchisees give back to their communities,” Peter Blackwell, SVP Marketing and Communications, said in a news release.
“As a proudly Canadian company with all of our locations being locally-owned and operated, it’s amazing to see the impact our franchisees are having on their communities. Our Valentine’s Day fundraising drive is just the latest example of our brand’s long-standing commitment to giving back,” he continued.
