A new sports bar is opening in Hamilton this weekend and it looks delicious

A new sports bar and restaurant is opening its doors to the public this weekend in Hamilton it looks like it will easily become a new local favourite.

Tin Cup Sports Grill, located in a plaza at 103 Portia Drive in Ancaster (near Lowe’s and Walmart), will celebrate its opening on Saturday (March 20) at 3 p.m.

This is the third location for this small chain of restaurants. Tin Cup has other locations in Burlington and Oakville.

The golf-themed sports bar offers a menu filled with many pub classics like nachos, wings, sandwiches and delicious looking burgers, as well as some more modern pub dishes like braised beef short ribs, Korean beef tacos and a crispy chicken bao bun.

Tin Cup’s newest location is massive with floor to ceiling windows, a huge u-shaped bar with plenty of seating, booths and tables throughout the space and, of course, a few really big-screen TVs throughout the restaurant for sports enthusiasts.

It’s both modern and cosy and when the time is right, sure to become a neighbourhood go-to for those big sporting events. Until then, given the sheer size of the space, the limited number of patrons allowed to dine in should feel comfortable indulging on a night out here.

If the rave reviews of Tin Cup’s other GTHA locations are any indication, the food, service and atmosphere of Hamilton’s newest sports bar are going to be top-notch and a welcome addition to the local food scene.

The restaurant is now taking reservations through its website and they will also be offering curbside pick-up. Follow them on Facebook for updates and specials.
