The Canadian government is reporting a total of 28 flights with confirmed COVID-19 cases that either departed or arrived at Pearson Airport over the past week.

From January 3 to 9, six domestic flights (flights within Canada) arrived at Pearson, while 13 domestic flights departed.

In that same timeframe, seven international flights arrived at Pearson and two departed.

One flight arrived at Hamilton International Airport from British Columbia on January 4.

Several rows were affected on each flight. Row numbers and more information about each flight are listed on the federal government’s website.

Passengers who were sitting in the affected rows (or all passengers on the flight if rows aren’t specified) are advised to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days and contact public health if they start showing symptoms of the virus.

Residents are reminded to quarantine for 14 days after returning to Canada from travel abroad.
