Below freezing temperatures this morning followed by near or below freezing temperatures each night through early Wednesday.

An extended period of significantly colder than normal temperatures will result in several days of frost and, at times, hard freezes across much of Southern Ontario. These conditions are expected to persist through Wednesday morning.

Hazard: Frost and freeze conditions.

Timing: This morning and tonight. Likely again Monday night and Tuesday night.

Impact: Frost-sensitive crops and plants could be damaged or killed by frost.

Action: Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive crops and plants.
