Watermain break closes portion of Barton Street in East Hamilton

Lane restrictions on Barton Street near Centennial Parkway might cause some traffic headaches for some motorists Wednesday (March 3).
The City of Hamilton said in a Tweet that crews are on the scene of a watermain break and that traffic will be restricted along Barton between Covington and Centennial for most of the day.
Motorists may want to consider an alternate route.
Lanes are expected to open back up around 5 p.m.
