If there’s one thing Hamilton band The Arkells can be relied upon to do, it’s the ability lift one’s spirits at a time when they’re at their lowest.

The band has once again managed to bring some cheer to their fans ahead of the Christmas season with the release this week of their festive ‘Pub Crawl’ music video.

In the video, frontman Max Kerman ‘embarks’ on an evening of merrymaking with cardboard cutouts of his fellow bandmates.

Some parts of the video are reminiscent of the Christmas classic, Home Alone when Kerman animates his cardboard bandmates with the use of a train and string.

The song celebrates the tradition and togetherness of the pub crawl while the video, which was filmed in Toronto, laments its absence this year.

‘Pub Crawl’ is The Arkell’s first-ever holiday song but it’s definitely one of those Arkells-style anthems that we’ll be listening to all year long.

Check out the video. It’s sure to lift some spirits and perhaps put a little spring in your step as we head into the weekend.

Enjoy!
