The Hamilton Fire Department said at least 11 homes in a row of townhouses were destroyed in an overnight fire in Stoney Creek Monday.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire but officials estimate total damage is in the millions.

Crews were called to Edenrock Dr just after 2:30 a.m. where they remained for several hours to battle hotspots.
Hamilton Fire used multiple aerial units to help battle the blaze.
Alectra Utilities reported a power outage affecting 1,934 homes and businesses in the area of South Service Rd to Hwy 8, and from Lewis to Fifty Rd.
