Hamilton police have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted on a number of assault charges.

Hamilton police have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted on a number of assault charges.

On September 4, 2019, police say they responded to the area of Stonechurch Road East in Hamilton regarding a weapons call.

Police continued with the investigation which resulted in a warrant for the arrest of 21-year-old Hamdan Mahmoud.

Mahmoud is wanted for the following charges:

  • Assault Level 1 x 8
  • Fail to comply with probation x 4

Mahmoud is believed to be in the Hamilton area is not to be approached. If spotted, residents are urged to call 911 immediately.
