‘Violent’ man wanted for ‘several violent offences’: Hamilton Police

The Hamilton Police Service (HPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is believed to be responsible for several violent offences.

On June 1, police began investigating allegations made against Nathanial McCoy.
“The information detailed events that were targeted and transpired over a period of several months,” said HPS. “At the conclusion of the investigation, an application for an arrest warrant was granted by the court system.”
Police said McCoy, 21, is known to have ties to Hamilton, as well as the Peel Region.

“He has demonstrated violent tendencies and Hamilton Police are asking the public that if he is seen, do not approach, contact 911,” they added.
McCoy is facing charges of:
- Assault level 1 x 12
- Assault (Choke) x 2
- Forcible Confinement x 3
- Theft Under $5000 x 2
- Mischief Under $5000 x 4
The suspect does not have a fixed address, according to police.
He’s described as a 5-foot-10 Black male with a medium build.
