On Thursday (Jan. 30) Hamilton Police said they continue to process the scene and they are encouraging anyone with surveillance footage to come forward to police.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 29) Police received a 911 call in relation to shots fired inside a residence at 21 Harvey St. in North Central Hamilton.
Police say they responded within two minutes of the call being placed.

Upon arrival, police say they found 46-year-old Stevens suffering from a gunshot wound.
Stevens was unresponsive and CPR was performed by officers and paramedics. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The residence, which is a seven-bedroom rooming house, was checked for other victims and all occupants were taken to the Central police station where witness statements were provided.
Hamilton Police Victim Services also responded and relocated the occupants of the house to a local hotel as the scene was secured pending a thorough forensic examination.
Members from the Division 10 detective office along with ACTION officers assisted the Major Crime Unit investigators with witness interviews and canvassing the area for potential surveillance video.
At this time, police believe that the suspects were three men who came to the rooming house in a four-door, silver-coloured sedan.
Video Technicians will be collecting surveillance video footage from the area and the ACTION team will be out again canvassing for witnesses and additional video footage.
A more detailed description of the suspects and vehicle will be shared once investigators have had a chance to review video and assess the information provided by witnesses.
Major Crime detectives along with Victim Services staff travelled out of town to locate and notify the victim’s next-of-kin. The family has asked for some privacy as they come to terms with their loss.
The motive for the murder is unknown at this time and the weapon used has not been recovered.
