Victim not cooperating in home invasion: Hamilton Police

Hamilton Police say detectives continue to investigate a home invasion in the city’s core.

The victim suffered injuries; however, they are not cooperating with the investigation, according to police.

On Monday shortly after 8:30 p.m., Hamilton Police were called to a residence in the area of Main St E and Holton Ave S for reports of a robbery.

Police say an adult male was inside his residence when he answered a knock at the door. Two suspects, a male and female, then reportedly forced their way into the home and assaulted the victim before stealing cash and two cell phones before fleeing.

The victim reportedly declined medical attention.

  • Male
  • Caucasian
  • 5’9 tall
  • Average build
  • Dark clothing
  • Bandana over his face
  • Sunglasses

Suspect 2:

  • Female
  • Heavy build
  • Camo pants
  • Face covered
