Shortly after 1:00 p.m., officers were called to a shopping plaza on Plains Road East and located two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

The second victim remains in hospital in serious condition.
Musitano is the presumed boss of a Hamilton crime family originally hailing from Calabria, Italy.
The family has been linked with gambling, extortion, and racketeering.
According to The National Post, Pat–the son of Dominic Musitano, who died of a heart attack in 1995–has been “stalked by a wave of attacks as a mob war erupted in the Greater Toronto Area”, including a shooting in Mississauga in 2019.
According to The Post, the enemies of the Musitano family are known to include criminal groups in Buffalo, Montreal and elsewhere.
The investigation into the Burlington shooting is ongoing.
Police say they’re seeking one male suspect in relation to this incident who reportedly fled westbound on Plains Rd. E. shortly after 1:00 p.m.
The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model grey 4-door sedan, similar to an Infiniti Q50 with a sunroof. This vehicle will have fresh damage to the driver’s side in the area of the doors, police say.
Police are urging anyone with dashcam and/or commercial or residential surveillance footage from the area between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to contact them by calling HRPS at 905-825-4777, or the Homicide Tip Line at 905-825-4776.
