UPDATE: Man fatally struck on LINC

Hamilton Police continue to investigate a collision that occurred on the LINC which resulted in the death of a Hamilton man on Monday (July 20).

Shortly after 4:00 a.m., police say a 27-year-old man from Hamilton who had exited his vehicle was fatally struck by a truck travelling westbound on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway between the Upper James and Garth Street exits.

The police investigation has determined the driver of the vehicle was not at fault and no other injuries reported.

Hamilton Police would like to thank the general public for their patience while the LINC remained closed during the morning and afternoon rush-hour.
