At 1:35 a.m. today, police received reports of a male being shot outside Boulevard Billiards at York Boulevard and Queen Street.

“Upon arrival of first responders a male was found on the sidewalk outside the establishment with vital signs absent,” police say.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

As part of the investigation, police have released images of individuals who were observed at the billiard hall and whom they are interested in interviewing, to determine if they have information that can assist the investigation.

Police continue to search for two suspects in this shooting — the first suspect is described as a lighter skinned black male, no facial hair, wearing a dark toque, dark hoodie, and a dark puffy jacket, while the second suspect is described as a darker skinned black male, wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants, and a dark jacket.

At this time, police say they have identified the victim but will not be releasing his name until extended family members have been contacted.
