UPDATE: Hamilton Police say Kayla has been found safe and is in the process of being reunited with her family.

The Hamilton Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old Hamilton girl.

On Thursday (July 2), at approximately 11:30 p.m. Kayla Miller was last seen by her family at their residence in the area of Upper Paradise Road and Lincoln Alexander Parkway.

At 1:30 a.m. Friday, her family noticed she had left the residence.

Hamilton Police say 15-year-old Kayla has not been seen or heard from since.

Police say there is a significant concern for Kayla as she has a mild intellectual disorder that causes her to function at a younger age.

She is considered vulnerable, and police say she requires support and it is believed she will need assistance to return home.

Kayla is described as:

  • Female
  • Caucasian
  • Height 5’0″
  • Medium build
  • Weight 150lbs
  • Blond hair shoulder length
  • Blue eyes
  • Black and white Under Armour shoes
