Two arrested after Burlington Street Crime Unit seizes over $11,000 worth of drugs in Hamilton

Two people are facing charges after Halton police recently concluded a two-week investigation into a drug trafficker.

“This individual was identified as the person responsible for providing drugs to a local drug house in the City of Burlington,” said police.

On Friday, November 6, investigators from the Burlington Street Crime Unit conducted a traffic stop in Burlington, then executed a search warrant at a residence in Hamilton.

Police say the following items were seized, including $11,335.00 worth of drugs:

  • 80 grams of Ketamine
  • 10 litres of GHB
  • 19 grams of Cocaine
  • 195 tabs of LSD
  • 150 Benzodiazepine pills
  • 2.5 grams of Fentanyl
  • $20,515.00 Canadian Currency
  • 3 cell phones
  • 2 computers
  • 1 digital scale

29 year old Botond Budai and 30 year old Erin Robertson, both from Hamilton, are facing numerous charges for Possession For the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Over $5000.

Robertson is additionally charged with obstructing and assaulting a peace officer.

Both parties were released on undertakings.
