Hamilton Police say they are looking to identify three suspects involved in an organized theft ring.

Hamilton Police say they are looking to identify three suspects involved in an organized theft ring.

Police said Thursday (Jan. 23) they believe there have been other Best Buys within the GTA area targeted by the same people.

Best Buy in Ancaster was a target of theft earlier this month on Jan. 9, shortly after 3:00 p.m., when three men entered the store at 14 Martindale Ct. in Ancaster.

Their suspicious nature brought attention to store security when they were leaving. They were last seen getting into a 2014 black Mazda 6.

Further investigation confirmed that the three suspects used a device that deactivates the theft-deterrent lock on high priced secured items so the security alarm is not triggered when leaving the store.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect#1
Male, approximately 30-years, 5’10, medium build,
Wearing a grey jacket with fur, black hoodie, black sweat pants and shoes with white soles

Suspect #2
Male, blonde hair, approximately 28-30-years, 6’ft, heavy build
Black Canada Goose jacket with fur on the hood, white shirt, black sweatpants, Nike shoes

Suspect #3
Male, tanned, approximately 30-years-old, 6’2-6’3, slim build,
Wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket, white t-shirt, blue jeans, brown Timberlands shoes
Suspect Vehicles:

The car they were seen getting in is described as a 2014 Black Mazda 6 with a Quebec licence plate.

Anyone with information is asked to contact on-duty Uniform Staff Sergeant at Division 30 (905)-546-3886.
