If I can’t go to Italy to sip on cheap wine and eat delicious food, then I’m going to order it in and watch Joe Pesci movies. Hamilton offers nothing short of great Italian food options.

5. CIMA Enoteca
I am really into CIMA’s curbside pick-up right now. I haven’t always been a fan of CIMA’s in-restaurant dining, but love that you can walk up to the window, order a wood oven pizza and receive it in a couple of minutes. They even have a brew and pizza deal on the weekend.

Castelli Cucina is giving you all the ingredients to make your own delicious Italian meal at home. Pizza kits, Lasagna kits, Eggplant Parmigiano kits – you name it, they have it. All of the ingredients are fresh and the meal is simple to make. Pair it with a nice glass of wine and you are all set.

They have $5 wood oven Margherita Pizzas – do I need to say more. Pizza aside, they have all the Italian classics with their own Born & Raised twist. You can also order form their sister company Shaolin in the same order. Guacamole and Wild Mushroom Gnocchi? Yes, please.

These guys know their way around some pesto. My favourite pizza in Hamilton is by far Bronzie’s Under the Tuscan Sun. Their version of the Margherita is Bronzie’s homemade pesto with tomatoes, feta, and spinach. Not a fan of pizza, then go for their Presto Penne. Did I mention I love their pesto?

1. La Cantina
La Cantina is my go-to Italian and I’m so glad they decided to reopen. The Gorgonzola Gnocchi is by far my favourite dish. It’s a massive portion, delicious, and comes with bread. If you’re like me and lie to yourself that you also have room for an appetizer, then I recommend Bruschetta Mista. It’s a mix of all their bruschetta. Mmm, I might get some more tonight.
