Top 5 cocktail kits for pick up or delivery in Hamilton

With this nice (a.k.a sweltering) weather here, who doesn’t want to have a fancy cocktail, or two … or three.

The local spots are packing up all the key elements to make delicious cocktails at home. All you need to do is to mix it all together and enjoy it. We’ve all had visions of being a bartender and shaking up cocktails and now is your chance!

Take a look at the top 5 places to get cocktail kits to go:

5. Toast Wine Bar

I tried the Ruby Soho that came will full-sized bottles of alcohol, strawberry puree, and fresh lemon juice! The instructions were emailed to me and the cocktail was delicious and simple to make. These kits are the most expensive on the list but make multiple cocktails. You have the option to get the kit without some of the ingredients to make it cheaper. They even have a monthly subscription with a new cocktail each week. My only recommendation would be to update grade the dollar store chips it came with – I want to feel like a fancy gal.

Method: Curbside (Toast website)

4. Motel Restaurant

Nothing like a mimosa made with fresh fruit juice sent directly to your doorstep! Tasted delicious, arrived quick, and always comes with something fun to put in your drink – last time was flowers and this time was umbrellas. Motel also offers brunch packages that have the option of including neon signs to get that Motel ambiance.

Method: Delivery (DoorDash) and curbside (Motel website)

3) Mai Pai Tiki Bar

I had no idea about this little gem of a bar. I loved everything about their cocktail kits! They came in cute takeout boxes/mason jars, had fun themed cocktails, and are made with local products. I tried the Under Hasselhoff’s Feet which is a Grain & Grit beer-based cocktail. How do you make Grain & Grit beer better? By adding more booze and juice to it. You can buy Tiki Mugs and their pizza makes me drool just by looking at it.

Method: Curbside (Mai Pai website)

2. The Mule

This kit comes with so much – a bottle of tequila, two bottles of Jarritto, grapefruit juice, a ton of garnish and a branded rocks glass (with a skull on it!). Pick-up was 100% contact-less, very easy, and much cheaper than delivery services. The Pomodoro kit was refreshing and made 6 cocktails! No … we didn’t drink it in one sitting (probably).

Method: UberEats, Skip the Dishes or Curbside (Mule website)

1. Bar Sazerac

I don’t know what I loved more, the cocktail itself or the popcorn that comes with it. Most places you either have to purchase food or it comes with generic boring food. Not here! It comes with the best popcorn … ever. I opted for the Blueberry Margarita and highly recommend it. The kit came with a free jigger, dehydrated garnish fruit, homemade mix, and the aforementioned popcorn. It was delivered to my door for free. There is a massive selection of small and large serving cocktail kits and for premade mix/syrups.

Method: Instagram DM, phone or email for pick-up or delivery

If you ask me clams shouldn’t be associated with a cocktail, but for all you Caesar lovers, check out all the Caesar cocktail kits at Hambrgr.
