Three men sought after employee tied up, store robbed in Hamilton

The Hamilton Police BEAR Unit say they are investigating a Monday (Dec. 9) evening robbery at an Ancaster store.

The Hamilton Police BEAR Unit say they are investigating a Monday (Dec. 9) evening robbery at an Ancaster store.

On Monday, shortly before 6:00 p.m., three suspects in disguise entered the Rogers Cellular store located at 73 Wilson St. W. in Ancaster.

The suspects forced an employee into a back room and tied his hands.

The suspects then proceeded to steal various cell phones, IPads and tablets along with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then fled the scene.

The employee did not receive any injury as a result of the incident.

The Hamilton Police Service is seeking assistance in identifying the suspects in this robbery.

The suspects are described as:

  • Suspect #1 – Man, 20’s, 5’10”- 6’2″, black hoodie, wearing white gloves
  • Suspect #2 – Man, 20’s, 5’10” – 6’2″, black hoodie with a Boston Bruins logo, black track pants and white runners.
  • Suspect #3 – Man, 20’s, 5’10” – 6’2″, approx 200lbs black hoodie, wearing white gloves.
