In consultation with Hamilton Public Health Services, Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) has declared an outbreak of COVID-19 on the third floor of the Satellite Health Facility (SHF) after five patients and two staff members tested positive for the virus. They are now in isolation.

“We are currently testing all health care workers on the floor as well as any staff who may have spent prolonged periods of time there,” said HHS. “We are also testing the remainder of patients on the floor.”
