The City of Hamilton building department responded after a structure collapsed on Dundurn St. S on Monday (Nov. 30). It occurred just before 2:30 p.m.

The building has been vacant for more than a year. No injuries were reported as a result of the collapse.

Dundurn is closed both ways between Chatham and Melbourne St, causing heavy traffic on Locke and Queen St, as well as the side streets in between.

The collapsed structure at 202 Dundurn St. S used to be the location of Southwestern Collision Services.

The photos below are of the now-collapsed structure from Sept 2019.
