Power outage on Hamilton mountain affecting more than 1,500 homes, businesses

Hydro One is reporting a power outage on the Hamilton Mountain Thursday morning (Jan. 28) that is affecting more than 1,500 homes and businesses.
The utility provider said crews are on scene in the Mount Hope area of Hamilton to address the problem and the estimated time for return to service is 9 a.m.
The cause of the outage remains unknown.
