Power outage affecting over 200 homes and businesses in Hamilton

A power outage is in effect this evening in Stoney Creek.
Alectra Utilities reported at 5:24 p.m. that approximately 201 homes and businesses are without power in the area of Kilbourne Ave to Green Rd and Highway 8 to the Stoney Creek escarpment.
A crew has been dispatched and the cause of the outage is being investigated.
Power is estimated to return by 8:30 p.m.
