The City of Hamilton and the Hamilton Farmers’ Market reported Friday (Apr. 30) that an individual working at a stall in the Market tested positive for COVID-19.

The individual last worked on Apr. 24 and is currently in self-isolation, according to the City.

In a statement, the City said that “although the individual was working with the appropriate face mask and had physical distancing measures in place,” the City and the Hamilton Farmers’ Market “are advising the community of the positive test result out of an abundance of caution.”

The City added that a thorough cleaning took place at the Market and hours of operation will not be interrupted.
