A portion of Hamilton’s Sherman Access is closed Tuesday (June 22) for maintenance.
As of 8 a.m. the City of Hamilton closed the east leg of the escarpment access, between the Sherman Cut and Kenilworth, for the day.
“The scope of work includes Kenilworth gate controller maintenance, ditching, rock removal, litter cleanup, as well as street-lighting pole replacement and straightening,” a City press release said.
“Motorists should take an alternate route to avoid the closure.”
HSR service is not expected to be impacted by the closure.
Crews are expected to wrap up, weather permitting, by 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
