Police officer hit by car while directing traffic on Highway 6 in Hamilton

An OPP officer has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car on Highway 6 in Hamilton.

While directing traffic after a collision on Highway 6 forced all four lanes to close, an OPP officer was hit by a car and had to be taken to hospital.

Currently, the severity of his injuries is unknown.
