A police investigation into the operation of an after-hours bar has resulted in the seizure of a gun, illicit drugs, and cash.

Three Hamilton men are facing several criminal charges.

In Nov. 2020, police say they were notified of a possible after-hours establishment, operating in the area of Barton St. and Victoria Ave. The information received included concerns regarding the establishment as a source of nefarious activity within the community.

“Detectives reviewed the practices of the establishment,” said Hamilton Police. “Through continued investigation, evidence gathered supported the existence of criminal activity that included the trafficking of illicit drugs.”

On Jan. 13, police executed a search warrant, leading to the seizures and arrests.
