Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying multiple suspects who illegally entered a school in the Hamilton area.

Hamilton police allege that between mid-July and mid-August, several individuals illegally entered a Dundas secondary school on three occasions and caused damage and stole property.

Police say that shortly before 4:00 am on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, three male suspects gained access to a Dundas secondary school by smashing a glass window. Police allege that prior to fleeing the scene, the suspects spray-painted racial slurs and symbols in several areas and stole the master keys to the building.

Police say around the same time on Sunday, July 19, 2020, the same male suspects, who had two more people with them, returned with the master keys and stole various school items before fleeing the scene.

Around the same time on August 15, 2020, the same male suspects allegedly forced their way into the school by smashing a glass door.

Police say the suspects once again stole various school items and fled.

Detectives from the Hamilton Police BEAR Unit are looking to identify five individuals. The first suspect is described as a tall male with a light complexion and a medium build. He has short, light brown/dirty blonde hair and wears eyeglasses. This suspect was involved in all three entries.

Police say the second suspect is a light-skinned male who is short with a stocky build. Police allege he was involved in the first two entries.

The third suspect is described as a tall, thin, light-skinned male with brown hair. Police allege that he was involved in all three entries and sometimes wore eyeglasses.

The fourth suspect is described as a tall, light-skinned male with a medium build and black hair that’s wavy on top and shorter on the sides. Police allege he was involved in the second entry. The fifth suspect is described as a light-skinned female with a small build and brown hair. Police allege she was involved in the second entry.
