Police looking for 40-year-old St. Joe’s patient from Hamilton

Hamilton Police Services (HPS) are looking for a man who went missing from the St. Joseph’s Outpatient Program.

Forty-year-old Richard Mann was supposed to appear at an appointment on March 26 at 2 p.m., however, he never showed up. He is currently considered Unlawfully at Large and is wanted on a Warrant of Committal–Form 49.

Mann is described as South Indian/East Asian; roughly 207 lbs; approximately 5’11” tall; with short, black hair; a partial beard; and a teardrop tattoo under his right eye. 

He’s believed to have been seen in the west and downtown areas of the city. However, these reports have not been confirmed. 

Anyone with information regarding Mann’s whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Tim Knapp of the Mountain Criminal Investigation Branch at (905) 546-8966–HPS is urging anyone who sees Mann to avoid confronting him and call 9-1-1 immediately.
