Over 3,500 residents affected by massive power outage in Hamilton

A major power outage is in effect this afternoon in Hamilton.

Alectra reports that 3,516 homes and businesses are affected in the area between Forsyth Ave S and Dundurn and from Aberdeen to York Blvd.

Crews have been dispatched.

Power is estimated to return by 5:30 p.m.
