One person extracted from house fire in Hamilton, taken to hospital

Fire crews are responding to a residential fire in Stoney Creek this afternoon.
Fire crews are responding to a residential fire in Stoney Creek this afternoon.
At 5:11 p.m., the Hamilton Fire Department reported a fire at 264 Federal Street, near the intersection of Green Road and Highway 8.
Crews removed one person from the house, who has been taken by paramedics to hospital with unknown injuries.
The fire has been knocked down. Crews remain on scene ventilating and overhauling, Hamilton Fire says.
