Hamilton Police say they have concluded the investigation into a fatal collision that killed a 25-year-old motorcyclist in May.

In a press release sent Thursday (June 18), police say that no criminal charges will be laid in the case.

On May 16, shortly after 12:00 p.m., a motorcycle travelling southbound on Upper James Street collided with an SUV in the intersection of Upper James Street and Fennell Avenue.

The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital for further medical treatment where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the SUV was not injured in the collision, police say.
