Sushi lovers have a new restaurant to try out located in the heart of Stoney Creek.

Earlier this month, Chef Martin’s Sushi House opened their second Hamilton location on King Street East.

Chef Martin’s two previously established locations are in Mississauga and on Hampstead Dr. in Hamilton.

Popular Hamilton foodie, Instagramer and all-knowing Hamiltonians, Steeltown Chowdown, has offered up a rave review of the new sushi joint on the block.

Sushi Lovers Rejoice!!! After my declaration of searching for à la carte sushi in #hamont, Faithful Follower, @steveym10 tipped me off that @chef_martin_sushi_house had recently opened in Stoney Creek’s downtown area. A quick visit in earlier this week and I’m hooked, I’ve already revisited them. Chef Martin offers up rolls & bowls that I found fresh, creative and great value. Prices range from $6.50 to $11.50 and let me tell you, the signature crunch roll is worth every penny. Even their spicy rolls were better made than the typical ‘a squirt of spicy mayo on top’. They’ve just opened, so I hope you’ll give them a shot and a proper welcome to town. Judging from Chef Martin’s Instagram page, they offer party trays and a la carte options. Their menu features items like rice bowls, poke and bulgogi on top of all of the fresh sushi.
