Missing Windsor man may have ties to Hamilton area: Police

Hamilton Police believe someone in the community could be the key to helping solve the case of man who’s been missing from the Windsor area since 2018.
In a Tweet sent Monday afternoon (Oct. 19), Hamilton Police urged residents to check out a video shared by Windsor Police about the disappearance of one Jerome Allen.
Allen, who was last seen October 20, 2018, was known to have ties to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).At the time of his disappearance, police say he was living in the Windsor area.
“It has been two years now since the disappearance of Jerome Allen,” the Windsor police say in a press release.
“The Windsor Police Service is convinced that this matter remains a homicide investigation.”

Police say there is now a reward of $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest and prosecution of the parties responsible for Allen’s disappearance
“Our community – and the family of Jerome Allen – deserve to know what happened to him,” the release said. “Somebody knows something!”
As the second anniversary of Allen’s death nears, his family issued a video urging someone to come forward with information about his disappearance.
“This is a difficult situation that no mother should have to go through,” said Catherine Allen, Jerome’s mother in the video. “There are no words to express the pain, the hurt and the suffering that we have been enduring for the past two years.”
Allen, who was born March 14, 1989 stands 6’4″ tall and weighs 179 lbs.
