McMaster University reports student tested positive COVID-19

McMaster University is reporting that a student has recently tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a notice posted to the school’s website on Wednesday (Nov. 25), the student tested positive for the virus on Tuesday and immediately notified the school.

The student was last on campus on Nov. 14 and had spent time in the Communications Research Lab building.

“All areas of the building have since been thoroughly cleaned,” the school says in the notice.

“Any contact tracing required is being managed by public health authorities. They will be directly contacting anyone who would be part of the tracing for this case.”
