Massive power outage affecting over 5,000 homes and businesses in Hamilton

Quite a few Hamilton residents may find themselves without power this morning.

Alectra has reported an outage affecting approximately 5,773 homes and businesses in the areas of Waterdown, Flamborough, and Dundas.

The cause of the outage is being investigated.

A crew was dispatched and power is estimated to return by 3:00 p.m.
