Major road closed after pedestrian struck by vehicle in Hamilton

Serious injuries have been reported following a pedestrian collision this evening.

Around 6:30 p.m., police say a male believed to be in his 50’s was struck by a vehicle on Main St east of Victoria Ave South.

The male was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Main St is closed from Tisdale St South until further notice, police report.

Residents should avoid the area for now and take alternate routes.
