‘Major housing-related announcement’ scheduled in Hamilton

A media release was sent out Monday (Dec. 14) on behalf of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).
The release states, “The Government of Canada and City of Hamilton will be making a major announcement related to housing in Hamilton.”
The announcement is scheduled to be streamed live at 10 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 14). It can be viewed here: live.webcastcanada.ca/go/CMHC-Dec15
Hamilton MP and Minister of Labour for the Government of Canada, Filomena Tassi and Fred Eisenberger, Mayor of the City of Hamilton, are expected to be on-hand for the announcement.
