Loblaw reporting new COVID-19 case at Hamilton grocery store

Loblaw is reporting that an employee at one of its store locations tested positive on a presumptive test for COVID-19.

The store in question is Franco’s No Frills, located at 640 Queenston Rd near Nash Rd.

The case was reported on Dec. 13. The employee last worked on Dec. 6.

“Given the important role we play in our communities, we are prepared for all possible situations, including a positive test for COVID-19 in our stores,” the company says.

“In these cases, we work closely with public health and follow their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization in our stores.”
